John E. Ryder, Sr., 56, of Keystone Heights, passed away Saturday March 7 at his residence following a lengthy illness. He was a United States Air Force Veteran. He retired from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office in 2002. He was a member of the Blue Knights Motorcycle Club. He is preceded in death by his son: John E. Ryder, Jr.
He is survived by his wife: Linda Ryder of Keystone Heights, FL; his children: Tracy Handley of Callahan, FL, Tonya Batman, of Northumberland, PA, and Bradley Batman of Milton, PA; his parents: John and Irene Ryder, of Keystone Heights, FL; a daughter-in-law: DiDi Ryder of Callahan, FL; a sister: Carol Olivier of Texas; 7-Grandchildren: Ashley, Brooke, and Michelle Ryder, Deon and Lindsay Handley, and Waverly and Brooke Batman.
