Louise O’Steen Hern, 86, of Jacksonville, passed away Wednesday January 21 following a lengthy illness. She was a life long resident of Jacksonville, and her parents were the late Foster and Julia O’Steen. She was a member of the Maranatha Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Louis Hern; 2-Brothers: Robert and James O’Steen; and 2-Sisters: Josephine Roberts and Catherine Lewis.
She is survived by 2-daughters: Teresa Poole and Christine Hern; and 2-Sons: Robert C. Hern and John Richard Hern; 9-Grandchildren: Sherry Branch, Edward Brown, Shlinda Canterbury, Scott Brown, Tina “Hern” Martinez, Tami Cope, Ryan Hern, Robby Hern, and Ronnie Hern; 10-Great Grandchildren: Richard Brown, Ashley Brown, Brittany Cope, Sarah Brown, Tyler Carlson, Mackenzie Cope, Taylor Carlson, Robert Gene Martinez, and Kaylee Grace Hern; 2-Sisters: Genevieve Deen, and Minnie (Gerry) Burch; 2-Brothers: Foster O’Steen and Cecil (Eunice) O’Steen.
The family will receive friends Monday January 26 at Maranatha Assembly of God 6242 Soutel Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32219 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 PM. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM with Rev. Glen McCall officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park in Jacksonville.
Pallbearers will be Ryan Hern, Robert Hern, Ronnie Hern, Tyler Carlson, Scott Brown, Edward Brown and Richard Brown.
