Robert Lee Rowe, 78, of Hilliard, Florida passed away November 16, 2009.
He was born February 17, 1931 in Hilliard to Minnie Lee and Frank Rowe. Robert was a member of River Road Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his two sons: Robert Larry Rowe and Tony Lee Rowe.
He is survived by his wife: Betty Jean Lee Rowe of Hilliard; one daughter: Roxann Blackstock (Jimmy) of Hilliard; one son: Steven Arthur Rowe (Tammy) of Douglas, Georgia; one sister: Mildred (Mibby) Boutwell of Hilliard; six step-sons: Mike Johns of Callahan, Florida; Jackie (Sam) Johns (Cindy); Ted Johns (Becky); Chris Johns (Cindy); Randy Johns (Patricia) all of Hilliard; Tony Johns (Keri)of Nahunta, Georgia; 26 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Pallbearers: Troy Donald Lee Jr., Steven Robert Rowe, Ashley Ray Fuson, Michael King, Cody Stokes and Tye Stokes. Honorary Pallbearers: J. Dean Stokes, Lewis Stokes, Raymee Stokes, Clint Stokes and A.J Stokes.
The family will be receiving friends Thursday, November 19,2009 from 6 until 8PM at River Road Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held Friday, November 20,2009 at 1:00 PM at River Road Baptist Church with Rev.’s James Conner, Hal McIntosh and Ken Westbrook officiating.
