Margaret D. Keen, 80, of Callahan, passed away Monday January 19 at Baptist Medical Center following a lengthy illness. She was a life-long resident of Callahan. Her parents were the late Earl and Laura Hunter. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Callahan. She was preceded in death by her husband: John Edwin Keen.
She is survived by her son: John Keen of Callahan, FL; a Granddaughter: Sara (Jeremy) Carter of Yulee, FL; and 2-Brothers: Aubrey Hunter of Callahan, FL, and Alvin Hunter of Interlachan, FL.
The family will receive friends Thursday January 22 at the First Baptist Church of Callahan from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held at the church Friday January 23 at 11:00 AM with Dr. Lynn Hyatt officiating. Burial will follow at Keen Cemetery.
